It has this fantastic gothic romantic vibe that just conjures the image of a lonely vampire sitting a lone at a piano illuminated by hundreds of red candles, mourning the loss of his beloved. Outstanding. Favorite track: A Snow-Crested Heart.

Pagan Centurion This is THE TOP album of 2021 for me. Nothing has come close and I seriously doubt anything could top this. Midnight Betrothed's demos were the best of 2020 and now this simply incredible masterpiece. Can't wait for a vinyl release of this and future releases! Favorite track: A Snow-Crested Heart.

After two excellent demos the Australian solo-project returns with an equally captivating debut album. Mastermind The Seer calls his music Sombre Romantic Black Metal, while we prefer the label Neoclassical Necro Synth for its unique combination of raw vocals and the dominant piano that makes Midnight Betrothed something totally outstanding in today's scene. If you are a sucker for dark romanticism and want something altogether different that probably hasn't been done in this fashion before, Midnight Betrothed may be the band for you.
